Job Description: Website Developer (Shopify & WordPress)
We are looking for a skilled Website Developer with strong experience in Shopify and WordPress to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to build, customize, and optimize websites, especially for e-commerce projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites on Shopify and WordPress (including WooCommerce).
- Customize Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and third-party apps.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.).
- Implement responsive, mobile-friendly designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Optimize website performance, loading speed, and SEO structure.
- Integrate third-party tools, payment gateways, APIs, and marketing apps.
- Manage website updates, backups, security, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and marketing teams for project execution.
- Test and debug websites before deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Shopify development (themes, Liquid, apps, store setup).
- Strong understanding of WordPress development (themes, plugins, builders).
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and basic PHP.
- Experience in Shopify apps and WordPress plugins.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with Shopify Plus or advanced WooCommerce customization.
- Knowledge of Figma/Adobe XD for converting designs to websites.
- Basic understanding of graphic design is a plus.
