About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our team. As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Architecture: Create and design end-to-end cloud solutions that align with business and technical requirements, using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
• Migration and Modernization: Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernize legacy systems for AWS environments.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud architectures, including identity management, data encryption, and monitoring. Stay updated on AWS security policies.
• Automation and DevOps: Implement automation for cloud infrastructure, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform), and configuration management.
• Cost Optimization: Optimize AWS resource usage to reduce operational costs, while ensuring high performance and availability.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including developers, network engineers, and security teams to deliver efficient cloud solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and provide regular reports to stakeholders on cloud architecture, project progress, and resource usage.
• Consultation and Support: Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance to teams and clients on best practices in AWS architecture.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or similar AWS certifications preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Route 53, Load Balancers).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of automation using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
