Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) team.
Your industry knowledge, contacts, and proven track record to successfully deliver projects will see you lead gas-related projects from concept through to feasibility phases for our project delivery group.
Examples of the gas power generation projects we are targeting include (but are not limited to) gas turbines, peaking plants, and much more.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Delivering the scope of work/services and management/coordination of teams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and the internal team
- Accountability of bids assigned to you as a bid leader
- Leading, coordinating and administering the project from commencement to final deliverables
- Determining significant time schedules and milestones, coordinating the participation of responsible entities and defining the major task areas
- Ensuring that the scope of work is delivered in compliance plans
- Managing project safety, scope, cost and schedule, and providing an environment within which the project team can undertake its functions
- Preparation of the Study and Project Management Plans, including supervising and monitoring the development and progress of schedules and the study
- Maintain the project delivery process to meet the client’s goals, objectives and expectations
- Maintain safety and risk management systems during the project and ensure compliant Safety in Design processes are adopted and reported
- Provision of financial monitoring and reporting
- Manage the necessary quality reviews
- Bachelor degree qualifications in Engineering or other relevant disciplines
- At least 10 years’ experience in engineering design / project delivery / client management / business development / project development
- Experience in leading complex studies and / or projects in the energy and resources sectors – from concept to detailed delivery and/or execution
- Extensive background in power generation, including (but not limited to) gas turbines, reciprocating engines, other thermal plant etc
- A strong dedicated focus on the client’s objectives
- Proven delivery and leadership skills
- Experience in developing proposals, budgets and schedules for new studies
- High attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
