Your role
- Analyze and break down coarse-grained requirements into fine-grained user stories ready for development, including detailed behavior of UI components.
- Work closely with software developers, UX/UI experts, and product owners as part of a Scrum team.
- Ensure user stories are clear, complete, and well-documented in Jira.
- Collaborate on prioritization, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
- Support the team in understanding business requirements and translating them into actionable technical tasks.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Hard skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an agile software development environment.
- Familiarity with web-based applications (UI front-end and back-end).
- Experience writing user stories and working with Jira.
- Understanding of microservice architecture.
- Strong communication, active listening, and comprehension skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator – technical and non-technical.
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and flexibility.
- Experience working in scaled agile frameworks.
- Familiarity with testing processes and acceptance criteria definition.
- Basic understanding of software development technologies and constraints.
- Work in an international group with strong local expertise in Belgium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, compliant, reusable data products.
