Senior Mobile Developer – New Venture (XR / 3D / Sensors)

Rendin is an Estonian proptech startup making renting safe and fair. We are the largest direct-from-landlord home rental platform in Estonia, with over 10,000 homes in our portfolio.

We are profitable, growing, and now incubating a new product venture inside the company — one that expands beyond renting and into how people understand, plan, and improve homes.

The role

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer to join the team behind this new venture.

Your primary responsibility will be the mobile app for data capture — where users scan, measure, and interact with real-world spaces through their phone. This involves working deeply with cameras, sensors, spatial data, and interactive 3D UX.

This is an early-stage effort, you’ll have real ownership. One week you will be deep in sensor-level work, the next mobile architecture and performance decisions, and another shaping UX and product direction as we learn what works.

What you’ll work on

• Building mobile applications that capture and interpret real-world spaces
• Working with camera pipelines, motion sensors, depth data, and spatial inputs
• Integrating native mobile capabilities into modern mobile architectures
• Designing and implementing interactive, spatially aware UX
• Prototyping quickly, then hardening ideas into production-ready features
• Collaborating closely with product and design to define what we’re building — not just how

Who we’re looking for

Must have

• Strong mobile engineering fundamentals (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
• Comfortable working across abstraction layers — from native APIs to UI
• Strong spatial reasoning and ability to think in 3D, not just screens
• Excited to work in an early-stage, ambiguous environment

Extra points

• Experience or strong interest in XR / AR / VR, 3D engines, or game-like environments
• Experience with camera systems, spatial mapping, or sensor fusion
• Product and UX sensitivity — you care how things feel and flow
• Curiosity about housing, renovation, or physical-world problems
• Prior startup or zero-to-one experience
