Role: DevOps Engineer – Telecom OSS Data Mediation

Eligibility: Candidate must have resided in Finland for a minimum of 3 years and be eligible for

security clearance

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation for environment provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code supporting mediation platforms
• Develop and maintain connectors and ETL pipelines to ingest data from network inventories, service catalogs, CRMs, and external systems, ensuring robustness through idempotency, retries, and error handling
• Model and manage data using RDF, including the development and maintenance of semantic vocabularies and ontologies covering network resources, services, topology, and customer context
• Enforce data quality standards including completeness, consistency, timeliness, lineage tracking, and version-controlled transformations
• Manage event-driven integrations using webhooks and streaming mechanisms to propagate data changes to downstream consumers
• Provide L2/L3 operational support for mediation platforms, lead root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and drive preventive improvements

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• Strong Telecom OSS domain expertise, including network and service inventory, topology and dependency modeling, and CRM integrations
• Hands-on experience with EXFO Nova Context / Pronto, including configuration, data ingestion, transformation workflows, and operational troubleshooting
• Solid knowledge of RDF/SPARQL, semantic data modeling, query optimization, and ontology alignment (RDFS/OWL familiarity)
• Proficiency in Python or Java for integrations and tooling, along with Shell scripting for operational automation
• Data engineering experience covering schema mapping, canonical data models, validation, lineage, and versioning
• Strong DevOps background with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), IaC (Ansible, Terraform), and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management, CAB participation, and RCA documentation

Nice to Have

• Experience with TM Forum frameworks, including SID, eTOM, and ODA alignment
• Exposure to graph databases such as Blazegraph, Apache Fuseki, or Amazon Neptune for RDF/SPARQL workloads
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
• Familiarity with AIOps or analytics solutions for anomaly detection and service impact analysis
