About Your New Job as Project Manager
- Project Oversight: Manage large-scale residential projects, including apartments and housing estates, from inception to completion.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize strong technical skills to review and provide feedback on architectural drawings confidently and independently.
- Onsite Management: Oversee onsite activities, ensuring that construction progresses according to plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Software Proficiency: Work with AutoCAD for housing projects and Revit for apartment projects.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle efficiently and effectively.
What Skills You Need as Project Manager
- Experience: Previous experience in an architectural firm, specifically with large-scale residential projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in reviewing and providing feedback on architectural drawings.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Onsite Management: Proven ability to manage onsite activities and ensure project adherence to plans and standards.
- Independence: Ability to make decisions and provide advice on drawings without needing approval from directors.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
