The GBS Capability Optimisation and Automation (GCOA) organisation is a strategic function focused on transforming finance operations through intelligent automation and AI. GCOA acts as a centralised capability hub, enabling scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The individual will be a proactive and driven self-starter with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and from a mixture of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models using modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake), ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and analytics goals.
- Deploy and operationalise analytical models, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and integrated into business workflows.
- Work closely with finance teams, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that meet operational and strategic needs.
- Design and implement intuitive Power BI reports and enhance with advanced analytics.
- Build and maintain datasets that integrate SAP and non-SAP financial data sources, enabling seamless access for reporting and analytics.
- Ensure metadata is accurately captured and maintained for lineage and governance.
- Work closely with finance teams, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that meet operational and strategic needs.
- Adhere to enterprise data standards and governance frameworks.
- Assesses the functions objectives and requirements of the organisation partnering with us.
- Determines the appropriate method of data integration and methodology, analyses and interprets information gained and implements recommendations.
- Use data to identify problems concerned with business strategy, organisation, procedures & performance and present findings.
- Analyses and interprets information gained and makes recommendations to business partners.
- Degree in sciences or quantitative discipline i.e., Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Sciences from Tier-I institute. MBA/post-graduation will be preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in data modelling and schema design, preferably within Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms.
- 3+ years' experience in developing, deploying and maintaining analytical models in production environments, including performance monitoring and model lifecycle management.
- 3+ years' experience in data visualization in Power BI.
- Skilled in leveraging DAX in Power BI, ensuring scalable and responsive Power BI reports across large datasets.
- Strong understanding of financial data structures and reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with SAP S4, Ariba, and other finance-related data sources is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and personal motivation
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Good presentation skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work remotely across time zones.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Team player who is dynamic and results-oriented.
