About the job


Spike Technologies is looking for a Senior B2B Account Executive with a proven track record of closing large enterprise customers to join our Growth team. As a key player in scaling our business, you will lead our outbound sales efforts for the Spike Health 360° API with MCP (Model Context Protocol) layer as well as Generative AI product suite. Your mission will be to develop and close a high-value pipeline within our digital health, insurance, and healthcare verticals.


Responsibilities


  • Drive the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, qualification, negotiations, and closing, specifically targeting enterprise-level clients in digital health, insurance, and healthcare.
  • Build and execute an outbound sales strategy that communicates the unique value of our unified API + AI offerings (Health 360° API, MCP / GenAI, Nutrition AI).
  • Work closely with our technical team, including data scientists and engineers, to align go-to-market messaging with product capabilities, roadmap, and customer needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape (other health-data APIs, legacy wearable integrations, custom solutions) and differentiate Spike’s value: educate customers on how our MCP / LLM architecture unlocks contextual coaching, predictive health, and cross-domain insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, technical leads, product teams in insurance companies, health systems, and digital health platforms.
  • Provide customer feedback to product & engineering teams, helping shape future releases (device coverage, new metrics, analytics, AI features).


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with enterprise customers (ideally in HealthTech, InsurTech, or Digital Health).
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets (quota-carrying role).
  • Strong technical acumen: you should understand APIs, how data ingestion pipelines work, and the value propositions of AI / LLMs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience reading, negotiating, and interpreting enterprise contracts (SLAs, data usage, security, privacy terms).
  • Self-starter mentality: willing to move fast, learn quickly, test new GTM strategies, and adapt.
