We are looking:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our startup as our first DevOps hire. You'll play a critical role in transitioning us from an incubator-hosted environment to our own self-hosted infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability as we grow.

Get Ready To:

• Define and build the company’s DevOps strategy and roadmap.
• Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS-focused).
• Design CI/CD pipelines and standardize deployment workflows.
• Set up robust monitoring and observability systems (e.g., DataDog).
• Establish and enforce security, cost, and operational best practices.
• Mentor developers and possibly future DevOps engineers as the team grows.
• Own incident response processes and production stability.

We Expect You To:

• Be fully autonomous in leading DevOps initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Have deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Understand and implement security best practices across cloud and CI/CD.
• Have a track record of building or scaling production systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Be capable of mentoring junior engineers and standardizing practices.
• Be fluent in both English and Lithuanian.

Our Tech Stack (Current & Future)

• We are in the process of defining our DevOps stack, but here are some tools we expect to use:
• Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab (self-managed), standardized pipelines, cloud-native buildpacks.
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, Elasticache, OpenSearch).
• Infrastructure as Code: OpenTofu (Terraform).
• Monitoring & Logging: DataDog (or alternative).
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.

Salary

Gross salary range is 4500 - 7500 EUR/month.
