Job Description

Scrum Master

In your role as Scrum Master, you will support multiple distributed software development teams that are part of an Agile Release Train (ART) providing a set of globally used applications related to Enterprise Data Management.

You will work together with your teams, the respective Product Owners and Product Manager, other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer of the ART.

You will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, and work closely with a product owner to perform sprint planning and backlog refinement. The Scrum master must understand the priority set by the product owner, and execute the backlog as wished, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality. The Scrum master requires commitment to building a strong collaborative environment with the team and the company.

Day To Day

  • Support the Agile team(s) in becoming a self-organizing & self-managing team
  • Train / Coach teams on Agile practices
  • Ensure team(s) follow the Agile processes
  • Help the product owner to organize the backlog
  • Remove impediments / communicate with stakeholders
  • Create high performing teams by driving continuous improvement
  • Facilitate all team meetings
  • Participates in Agile Release Train(s) (ART), Agile team, Scrum of Scrums
  • Create an environment where multicultural teams can thrive.

Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical or Business subjects
  • Professional Scrum Master certification and certified SAFe 5.0 or higher
  • 3-5yrs Scrum Master experience in an international (global) organization
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
