Overview / Summary:
We are looking for an AWS Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team for a projecto in the insurance sector, to work closely with the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), to define and implement best practices for cloud operations.
The successful candidate will support new projects by providing architectural guidance and deploying solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as, leading incident resolution and problem-solving efforts.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Partner with CcoE to establish and enforce operational best practices across AWS environments.
- Design and implement cloud architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical AWS services.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Mandatory Requirements:
- +4 years of experience in similar roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning in AWS environments.
- Preferably experience in the insurance sector.
- Portuguese and English B2 level.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Terraform
