You’ll act as both strategic advisor and hands-on enabler, bridging architecture, automation, and leadership across Traton’s global software factory initiatives.
Your Future Job
You will be part of the DevOps team with creative colleagues and will work in close cooperation with all teams in the project, located both in Sweden and abroad, representing multiple nationalities.
Examples of tasks:
- Define and evolve Traton’s DevOps strategy within the DDU SW Factory
- Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as S3 for object storage, EC2 for virtual server instances, and VPC for networking and security
- Defining an efficient branching strategy and merging approach
- Collaborate across departments to align tooling, processes, and governance
- Drive innovation in deployment models, container orchestration, and automation pipelines
- Design scalable, automated CI/CD frameworks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Evolving DevOps AI practices, integrating AI and machine learning into DevOps workflows for smarter automation, predictive insights, and continuous optimization
- Mentor engineering teams, lead architectural reviews, and guide platform evolution
- You are a communicative and cooperative person who takes responsibility for creating and maintaining a great development environment. You have solid experience working as a DevOps professional in larger projects, preferably within the automotive industry.
- With 5–10 years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure roles, you bring both technical depth and an architectural perspective. You have a strategic mindset and are comfortable driving strategic changes that improve processes, tooling, and ways of working across teams.
- Your technical background includes strong knowledge of AWS, GIT, Docker, JIRA, programming, and reading various data formats such as XML, JSON, and YAML. Experience with Android and QNX operating system is highly beneficial.
- You have a B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar along with relevant work experience.
