The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue and promoting all facets of the hotel. This includes generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, achieving sales targets, and representing the company's brand, values, and service standards. The role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, market analysis, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Sales & Business Development

  • Plan and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities; convert sales leads.
  • Maintain and grow existing business accounts through action plans and regular follow-up.
  • Conduct client interviews, site inspections, and familiarizations to showcase facilities.
  • Entertain and engage prospects and key accounts to sustain and generate additional business.
  • Build and maintain a profile in the marketplace and monitor competitor activities.
  • Execute direct mail campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business generators, corporate accounts, government departments, travel agents, airlines, tour operators, and event planners.

Client & Account Management

  • Handle accounts and prospects collaboratively with the team.
  • Maintain regular contact with reservations and operations teams.
  • Ensure clients receive accurate information about hotel services, programs, and events.
  • Anticipate and respond to client needs to exceed expectations.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends and communicate tactical changes to management.
  • Report sales activities, results, and potential issues with suggested solutions.
  • Set high-performance standards and pursue agreed goals, driving for measurable results.

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure seamless service and operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, briefings, and handovers to maintain smooth communication.
  • Promote a positive, cooperative, and professional work environment.
  • Inspire and motivate team members, recognize good performance, and provide support where needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality sales or business development.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
