Skills and Responsibilities:
•Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of data products (e.g., data platforms, analytics solutions, ML feature stores, data APIs) that enable teams to make faster, trusted, and measurable decisions.
•Bridge business goals with technical execution, drive data quality and governance, and continually improve adoption and outcomes.
•Define product vision, success metrics, and 12-18-month roadmap for data products.
•Build quarterly OKRs aligned to business outcomes (revenue, cost optimization, risk reduction).
•Conduct discovery user interviews, process mapping, competitive analysis, and data maturity assessments.
•Translate business needs into clear product requirements PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
•Partner with data engineering to design schema, data models, and pipelines (batch streaming).
•Define governance needs data lineage, quality SLAs, security, PII handling, compliance (GDPRCCPA).
•Prioritize backlog (impact, effort, risk) and run sprint rituals with engineering analytics teams.
•Coordinate with platform infra teams for reliability, performance, and cost controls.
•Lead UAT, launch plans, documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement.
•Establish DQ policies completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, uniqueness.
•Implement observability (monitoring, alerting, lineage) and manage incident response for data issues.
•Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards manage access policies and audits.
•Define product KPIs (adoption, NPSCSAT, query latency, SLA adherence, cost per query).
•Build feedback loops via telemetry and stakeholder reviews iterate features and deprecations.
•Evangelize data products create playbooks, templates, and training for onboarding teams.
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
