We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Android Developer to join our Client Engineering team. You’ll be creating the next generation of our connected fitness software, delivering a world class experience to customers on a number of high profile equipment brands.
Role Commitments
- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable Android application components
- Drive technical excellence in mobile engineering practices and app architecture
- Mentor and support team members to foster growth and shared success
- Partner cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business and user needs
- Champion platform innovations and assess their strategic value to our products
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and reliable Android applications that meet business requirements
- Mentor Junior and Mid-level Android Developers and help them grow
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure intuitive and responsive user experiences
- Work with your squad to architect and implement complex features and functionality
- Optimize Android applications for performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug Android applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Android development
- Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Coordinate with other senior developers to drive the technical direction of development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- Experience with Android development frameworks and APIs
- Experience programming in Kotlin or React Native
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with agile development practices
- Experience with leadership and mentorship
Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan, and exemption status.

Subject to applicable state laws, your employment at iFIT is "at-will". At-will employment means that you and the company each have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time for any cause or for no cause at all.
Pay Range: : $105,000 USD - $115,000 USD
