We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scrum Master to join our Compliance Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability solution delivery team. Acting as a servant leader, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the scrum team achieves its goals. They will have accountability for the team's understanding of Scrum and other agile practices and ensure that the team is effectively applying core agile principles with a focus on continuous improvement.
The successful candidate must be accountable, have an attention for detail and take initiative to remove blockers and enable the team. In addition, they will be responsible for oversight and coordination of technical dependencies outside of the scrum team.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leverage agile scrum expertise to facilitate team ceremonies, scrum ceremonies, and PI planning events
- Lead the team's efforts in relentless improvement and facilitates the team's retrospective
- Coordinate with other teams and manage cross-scrum team dependencies
- Remove roadblocks, including those which may be beyond the team's authority or require support from other teams
- Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team
- Define and manage timelines and scope using backlog refinement and agile scheduling techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
- Take initiative, wear multiple hats and partner with the team to deliver results as needed
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Support release planning and execute release implementations
- Partner with the Product Owner to ensure product backlog items are refined, prioritized and scheduled
- Attention to detail and follow up
- Understand the team objectives and the solutions the team is working
- Product safety, product recall, and compliance experience
- Demonstrated expertise serving a scrum master role for 10 plus years
- Experience supporting multiple teams
- Experience managing external dependencies
- Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Agile SAFE certification
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC); working in an IT environment
- Ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization using influencing skills
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum/Kanban teams
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to accommodate changing priorities, work in fast paced environment and manage multiple concurrent deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Jira and Confluence
