We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Python) with 2+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python and backend frameworks, with hands-on experience in building robust, secure, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python
- Build and manage RESTful APIs
- Work with backend frameworks such as Django / Flask / FastAPI
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Debug, test, and enhance existing backend systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python
- Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI)
- Experience with REST API development
- Working knowledge of databases:
- SQL: PostgreSQL / MySQL
- NoSQL: MongoDB (preferred)
- Familiarity with ORMs and database optimization
- Experience with Git / Version Control
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
