Cisco Enterprise DevOps as a Service (EDaaS) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build platforms that elevate the Developer Experience (DevEx) across the enterprise. This role focuses on creating intuitive, scalable, and secure platforms that streamline engineering workflows, improve productivity, and provide developers with seamless access to the tools and services they need.
The ideal candidate has expertise in frontend and backend engineering, with strong skills in modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native architectures. You will work closely with product owners, DevOps engineers, and platform teams to deliver solutions that optimize onboarding, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end developer workflows.

Cisco Enterprise DevOps as a Service (EDaaS) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build platforms that elevate the Developer Experience (DevEx) across the enterprise. This role focuses on creating intuitive, scalable, and secure platforms that streamline engineering workflows, improve productivity, and provide developers with seamless access to the tools and services they need.
The ideal candidate has expertise in frontend and backend engineering, with strong skills in modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native architectures. You will work closely with product owners, DevOps engineers, and platform teams to deliver solutions that optimize onboarding, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end developer workflows.
Your Impact
- Frontend Engineering – Build intuitive, responsive UIs using frameworks such as React to simplify workflows and dashboards.
- Backend Engineering – Develop APIs and microservices in Java, Golang, or Node.js, ensuring scalability and secure integrations.
- Platform Development – Design and implement applications that provide a unified developer experience across tools and services.
- Toolchain Integration – Connect DevEx platforms with DevOps tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, ArgoCD) to enable frictionless developer workflows.
- Developer Portals – Contribute to or build internal developer portals that centralize access to documentation, environments, pipelines, and observability.
- Security & Guardrails – Implement secure authentication, role-based access, and compliance guardrails for all developer-facing services.
- Observability & Metrics – Build monitoring dashboards to track platform adoption, usage trends, and performance.
- Collaboration – Partner with product owners, platform engineers, and end-users to iterate quickly on features that directly improve DevEx.
- Documentation – Deliver clear technical documentation and self-service guides to empower developers.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks (React, Angular) and backend development (Java, Go).
- Proficiency in database technologies such as Mongo, Postgres, Redis
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Strong understanding of web security, authentication, and access control.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in fast-paced environments.
- Experience building developer portals (e.g., Backstage, custom platforms).
- Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Knowledge of API gateways, service meshes, and distributed architectures.
- Experience with data visualization libraries and dashboarding.
- Contributions to open-source projects or internal developer tools.
- Developer-Centric Mindset – Passion for improving developer workflows and productivity.
- Full Stack Expertise – Ability to move seamlessly between frontend and backend tasks.
- Execution Excellence – Deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly platforms.
