The Role
Veeva is growing and is looking for people who are keen to make a positive impact on the life science industry.
As an Account Partner, you will lead the sales and account management efforts for Vault Quality Cloud in defined Pharma accounts. You will manage the relationship between Veeva, and all relevant stakeholders in business and IT, on all levels including C-level.
You will act as a trusted advisor and challenger to your assigned customers, helping them knock down the old ways of doing things, and be more innovative by understanding their vision and strategy and aligning Veeva’s solutions in the right way. You strive to be the go-to resource and become a catalyst for change, working closely with Veeva strategy, solution consulting, and services teams.
A strong understanding of the life sciences industry and specifically quality and manufacturing domain, enterprise software sales cycle, and a passion for making market changes with innovative technology is ideal for this role. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales or consultative selling, with a proven track record.
What You'll Do
- Understand and present Veeva Quality Cloud and inspire interest in defined Global Pharma companies
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT and C-level in Quality and Manufacturing domain
- Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
- Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals
- Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
- Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges
- Act with urgency, integrity and a focus on the customer
- 10+ years of experience in software sales or consulting experience ideally within the Life Sciences industry
- 5+ year’s experience in enterprise software sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Strategic account planning and execution skills
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentations skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of customers from end users to C-level
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
- A passion for solving customer business problems
- Must have a team-first mentality
- Languages –English
- Understanding of the quality and manufacturing domain in the Life Sciences industry and adjacent industries
- Existing knowledge/network of the Life Sciences market in the defined domain and region
- Understanding of enterprise software solutions across Quality and Manufacturing areas including solutions like QMS, LMS, ERP, MES and LIMS
