As we continue our transformation journey, we’re seeking an Local Information Security Manager (LISO) to lead cybersecurity strategy and operations across Nissan Oceania while connecting local priorities with global standards and ensuring our people, data, and technology are protected in an increasingly digital world.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the AMIEO Head of Cyber Security Operations , you’ll be a key part of Nissan’s global Information & Cyber Security team responsible for leading security initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll act as the regional cybersecurity liaison, balancing technical and business needs while driving alignment with the global framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage regional security initiatives aligned with Nissan’s global cyber strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards, including J-SOX and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide governance and oversight, managing audits, incident responses, and risk treatment plans.
  • Partner across functions legal, IT, procurement, and vendors to strengthen cyber resilience.
  • Integrate security into architecture and operations, guiding IT and engineering teams on secure configurations.
  • Build awareness and capability, delivering security briefings and training to diverse stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and ongoing remediation activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in IT, with a strong background in cybersecurity and proven leadership within technical environments.
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
  • CISM certification (or equivalent such as CISSP, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer).
  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 2700x, NIST CSF), risk management, and security architecture.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills - across both technical and business audiences.
