CQUniversity is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who can deliver reliable, secure and efficient network solutions across our cloud and on-premises environments. You will draw on your advanced technical expertise to ensure the integrity, performance and availability of our network and communication services, supporting the university’s strategic objectives and contributing to a strong, forward thinking technical team.

In this role, you will maintain and enhance enterprise network and security services, resolve complex issues, and implement quality changes with a focus on service continuity and customer support. You will also support and guide colleagues, helping build capability across the team.

Position Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to follow through on problems and negotiate satisfactory outcomes with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, diagnose and understand complex networks; with proven expertise in providing operational support services in a complex networked environment; and to work well under pressure.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of:

• Network management
• Network systems administration
• Cybersecurity
• Advanced technical problem solving; and
• High awareness of latest trends and innovations in network systems technology.
