Job Overview:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team and help transform data into actionable insights. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business data, developing dashboards, and providing recommendations that drive business decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their needs, providing data solutions that improve efficiency, optimize processes, and support business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources (e.g., internal databases, external tools, spreadsheets) to generate actionable insights for business improvement.
  • Design and create visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored data solutions to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain automated data reporting processes and data pipelines.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on business performance.
  • Support the development of forecasting and predictive models to inform business strategy.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis as needed to support strategic initiatives or specific business needs.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used for analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain and improve existing BI systems and processes, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements.
  • Educate and train non-technical stakeholders on how to interpret and utilize BI reports and tools effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms).
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience with Excel, including advanced features (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable way for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., D3.js, Google Data Studio).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms or predictive analytics.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific data and performance metrics.
