Key Tasks

• Supporting customer projects in the areas of networking, infrastructure, and IT security
• Evaluating and selecting new hardware (e.g. switches, firewalls)
• Contributing to the design of modern network architectures
• Designing and configuring secure network environments for projects in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) sector
• Collaborating closely with system engineers to develop robust network architectures
• Deploying solutions in safety-critical air traffic environments
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration, a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the network field
• Strong understanding of routing and switching, with knowledge of technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and similar vendors
• Passion for developing complex technical solutions
• CCNA-/CCNP or a comparable certification is a plus
• Confident and professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers
• Good command of written and spoken English
