🎯 General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field,
• 3+ years experience,
• Relevant business and systems subject matter expertise - especially in database activity monitoring, data security, data encryption, and data discovery, and data loss prevention,
• Proven experience supporting data security projects as an Engineer,
• Proven ability to engineer and design solution for DAM, Vulnerability Assessment, and Data Encryiption,
• Demonstrated successful use of AGILE and/or Waterfall SDLC methodology,
• Excellent knowledge of Office tool set - Word, Excel, Project and Visio,
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

🎯 Job Description

• Implement database activity monitoring, sensitive data discovery, and data at rest encryption controls,
• Identify applications that transmit sensitive data, assess controls in place to ensure protection, and share remediation findings,
• Collaborate with Client Information Security SMEs, and project team members,
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks based on best practices,
• Interact with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve product issues and defects,
• Provide subject matter expertise to scope refinement, work breakdown structure, and time estimation meetings,
• Provide status updates to all levels of Data Security management including program and project management staff,
• Provide data which contributes to operational performance metrics.

Preferred

• Database administrative knowledge (RDBMS, NoSQL),
• Experience with administrating IBM Guardium, IBM Guardium Data Encryption,
• Imperva DAM administration - appliances, agents, policy,
• Dataskope DAM administration appliances, agents, policies,
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM),
• Able to troubleshoot issues under stress while preserving relationships,
• Experience with Requirements Management tools,
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills,
• Effective presentation, negotiation and influencing skills to interface with all levels of management and to facilitate large meetings across the Client organization,
• UNIX administration with shell scripting,
• Windows server admin,
• CISSP, DBA skills.
