Key Roles And Responsibilities
As a Creative Intern, you will be part of the Marketing team that supports across Sembcorp’s different business units. Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will be working with various stakeholders and liaising with creative media/digital agencies to implement marketing initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders.
This role will provide you with opportunities to exercise your creativity and gain exposure to varied touchpoints ranging from; traditional media (ATL/BTL), digital marketing (Display Advertising, Social Media, Email Marketing, digital dashboard), spatial design, website design, tradeshows/events materials, sales collaterals and video development. Candidates with a firm grasp in animation techniques, fundamentals, and software will be a plus.
You are also expected to be proactive in engaging your internal stakeholders, understand the competitive landscape and propose creative concepts via different platforms to support various projects and campaigns.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to work on a creative assignment within three working days of receipt.
- Design, develop and adapt creative content for both traditional and digital platforms. These include short duration videos/ flash or animated images. Traditional materials should include out-of-home media and print advertisements.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, digital marketing concepts, best practices and strategies UX/UI and visual development for products such as: Dashboard, Mobile app, Reporting platforms
- Create and deliver motion graphics for various media platforms
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and support the development of marketing materials such as sales kits, brochures, flyers, tradeshow concepts etc.
- Liaise with creative/ media agencies entities to deliver desired output of the project/asset
- Independently manage and keep track of projects, tasks and materials on hand
- Conceptualize, plan and develop the customer journey for exhibitions and showcase spaces.
- To provide support for any other related duties assigned
- Background in Media Design, Advertising or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Website design and content development
- Motion graphics and/or video footage editing
- UI/UX and visual design – Dashboard, App or similar platforms
- Brand guidelines and visual documentations
- PowerPoint presentations - slide artwork and animation; strong PowerPoint design is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing; comfortable presenting concepts and ideas.
- Strong written and spoken English , as the role creates content and presents concepts to English-speaking stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of design, copy, and web practices; up to date with graphic design techniques.
- Excellent skills in content creation, branding and social media marketing
- Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Video Editing/ Production, HTML5, Website content management (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet), PowerPoint. 3D animation (C4D Modelling, rendering and animation) is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage a considerable workload; adaptable to changing business and market needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to present project ideas confidently to stakeholders.
- Prior knowledge or interest in the energy sector or an engineering background is advantageous.
