About The Role
We are seeking highly skilled Senior and Principal Members of our Technical staff to spearhead the development of the front end for our next-generation Oracle Health Clinical Applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization of healthcare technology by designing and implementing cloud-native, AI-driven applications that are both user-friendly and robust. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, UX designers, and platform engineers—to develop large-scale single-page applications (SPAs) that are accessible, high-performing, and secure. Your expertise will help shape intuitive user experiences and develop resilient APIs that support Oracle Health’s mission-critical platforms. The role requires a proactive approach, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to excellence in delivering scalable and maintainable front-end solutions within an Agile, CI/CD environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5-10 years of experience developing complex, large-scale front-end applications
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong knowledge of ES6 standards
- Proficiency in React and Redux (or equivalent state management libraries)
- Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass or Less, with a focus on responsive and accessible design
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha/Chai, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing tools like Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium
- Proficiency with build tools including Webpack, npm/yarn, and version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques like code-splitting, lazy loading, and bundle splitting
- Experience with containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of security best practices in front-end development
Preferred qualifications include experience with accessibility tooling, design tools like Figma or Sketch, and backend collaboration using Node.js, Express, or Java. Knowledge of feature flagging, A/B testing, and analytics is also advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale single-page applications with modular architecture and robust state management
- Implement responsive, accessible user interfaces adhering to WCAG and inclusive design standards
- Integrate front-end components with REST and GraphQL backend services, optimizing data fetching and caching strategies
- Establish and maintain unit and end-to-end testing, performance budgets, and monitoring systems to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate prototypes into production-ready interfaces
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, component libraries, and comprehensive documentation
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment
- Optimize application performance through techniques such as code-splitting, lazy loading, and security best practices
- Support containerized deployment workflows and ensure scalable, resilient front-end solutions
