Work You'll Do/Responsibilities

  • Provide design, implementation, and management of the lab network and production network environments
  • Resolve network incidents, plan and implement requests and changes, troubleshoot and implement resolutions for problems
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of proven network engineering experience in an enterprise environment
  • Advanced routing and switching knowledge
  • Extensive Cisco networking experience
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced, multi-level, project-based environment with an emphasis on timelines is an asset
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • CCNA certification
  • ITIL certification
  • CCNP certification
  • Network security knowledge (Firewalls, VPN, etc.)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $98000 to $158000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
