G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Application Developer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are looking for a dedicated and professional individual to design, build, test, and support software applications.
Responsibilities
- Development and configuration of IBM Maximo solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring the system is tailored to operational needs.
- Development and implementation of integrations between Maximo and Mobiess, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Maximo and Mobiess, investigating and resolving issues in testing or live environments and ensuring system stability.
- Assist with Maximo upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Development and configuration of other internal applications, products and solutions.
- Participation in every part of the software development life cycle.
- Analysing and revising software errors to improve programs.
- Documenting your work through User Guides, Design Documents, and Coding Standards to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience in software design and development using JavaScript, TypeScript Jython/Python, C#, VS Code
- Knowledge of either SQL Server, MySQL, DBA database environments, or data loading for IBM Maximo or other applications.
- Working knowledge of web services or other integration technologies.
- Ability to produce concise and well-documented designs and code.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Knowledge of enterprise asset and work management
