About The Role

Join a high-profile civic infrastructure project as the lead Network Engineer, delivering end-to-end LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi solutions for a brand-new multi-story civic building. You’ll design, implement, test, and hand over a secure, resilient, and scalable network that supports community services, staff productivity, and public spaces.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead technical design and delivery of multi-floor LAN/WAN networks using Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISE, and DNA Center.
  • Oversee fibre backbone implementation, structured cabling, and staged network cutovers.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, tuning, and validation for wired and wireless networks.
  • Manage vendors, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure compliance with public sector standards.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to ICT operations.

About You:

  • Minimum CCNA; CCNP or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex Cisco network projects, ideally in multi-floor or multi-site environments.
  • Strong Layer 2/3, OSPF/BGP, PoE, Wi-Fi, and fibre WAN experience.
  • Experienced in fibre audits, cutovers, testing, and post-deployment tuning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and project coordination skills.

Desirable:

  • CCNP/CCIE or equivalent advanced certifications.
  • Experience with SDA/SD-Access, VXLAN/EVPN, Nexus/data centre integration.
  • Previous local government or public sector project experience.
