Senior Backend Engineer

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer specializing in NodeJS API development to join our dynamic startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in API development. You will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust APIs, contributing to the innovation of a user-focused platform that supports thousands of entrepreneurs.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art APIs.
• Taking ownership of various applications and services.
• Ensuring the development of high-quality software within your team.
• Conducting testing to assure quality deliverables.
• Participating in making technical choices for Rauva’s products.
  
  

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in API development using NodeJS and Typescript.
• Experience in building high-quality software utilizing testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of various types of testing (Unit and Integration) using Jest.
• Experience with AWS and serverless architectures is appreciated.
