We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer specializing in NodeJS API development to join our dynamic startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in API development. You will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust APIs, contributing to the innovation of a user-focused platform that supports thousands of entrepreneurs.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing state-of-the-art APIs.
- Taking ownership of various applications and services.
- Ensuring the development of high-quality software within your team.
- Conducting testing to assure quality deliverables.
- Participating in making technical choices for Rauva’s products.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in API development using NodeJS and Typescript.
- Experience in building high-quality software utilizing testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of various types of testing (Unit and Integration) using Jest.
- Experience with AWS and serverless architectures is appreciated.
Additional complementary skills include:
- Experience developing large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in using relational databases.
- Previous exposure to agile methodologies.
