We’re looking for an Embedded Softwre Engineer to join a major IOT and electronics manufactring global tech hub in Madrid

As part of our software Operations and Applications deparment,, you’ll take ownership of challenges coming from the field, collaborating closely with developers and Linux engineers to deliver stable, scalable, and high-performing embedded solutions.

You’ll also spend part of your time embedded within a development squad, gaining hands-on experience with Linux-based environments and sharpening your programming and debugging skills.

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded applications using the Linux Platform and other Linux distributions.
• Design and implement JSON-based integrations to enable secure and efficient communication with cloud platforms.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum framework using Jira and Confluence for task and documentation management.
• Partner with hardware engineers to achieve seamless interaction between hardware and software components.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in C/C++ development, with strong exposure to Linux and embedded systems.
• Experience with Opex or STL, socket programming, and communication protocols such as CAN, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.
• Permanent contract with our end client and 3 days remote work
