About this Opportunity:

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support Ericsson Business Areas (Cloud Services and Software, and Networks) and Group Functions. You will be part of a dynamic team that is pivotal in maintaining Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Program and responsible for providing tactical advice to employees globally on anti-bribery and corruption and fraud prevention.

This opportunity will allow you to continue to develop and apply essential compliance skills and advance subject matter expertise in anti-bribery and corruption, fraud prevention and ethics. You will collaborate with the Market Area and Group Compliance teams and other functions to implement and enhance our compliance program and related initiatives. You will drive the application of critical data analytics skills to identify compliance trends and insights to be used to communicate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.

This opportunity requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and analytical skills, who is excited about continuing to develop ethics and compliance skills alongside experienced compliance colleagues. The role reports to the Head BCSS Compliance, GFLA CO BA&GF.

What You Will Do

  • Support the continued development of a culture of compliance, setting an example for transparency and promoting an environment where speaking up in a professional manner is encouraged.
  • Help to implement initiatives to strengthen the culture of ethics and integrity, particularly relating to fraud prevention, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
  • Assist with E&C program updates and requirements, and reporting E&C program updates.
  • Support communication to management teams, the compliance organization and others as needed regarding implementation of the compliance program, including data analytics, relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in area of responsibility, and monitoring reports as requested by Group Compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation, editing and maintenance of Compliance program related materials.
  • Create and maintain reports for monitoring, tracking, and analysis purposes and ensure appropriate and secure retention of documents.
  • Coordinate and track policy, training, and other compliance risk management initiatives.
  • Work with GF and BA Compliance Officers in responding to raised compliance risk management concerns.
  • Identify Compliance risks and spot issues, and work with GF and BA Compliance team to ensure appropriate systematic mitigation.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of the local business activities and Ericsson business processes, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support GF and BA compliance priorities; plan and prioritize activities based on risk on a prescribed cycle (e.g., development of annual compliance plan).
  • Alongside GF colleagues, support compliance risk assessments, reviews and monitoring of implementation of remedial actions.
  • Assist in performing group compliance trainings to ensure business requirements are addressed and ensure appropriate monitoring and tracking of training and awareness programs.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Third Party Management (TPM) process and assist in third party reviews and due diligence.
  • Assist with assessment and management of actual or potential conflicts of interest cases, gifts, entertainment and hospitality requests (GEH), and compliance consulting cases.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the policies and directives relating to reporting of violations and concerns.
  • Utilize the allegations case management system and support with investigation remediations.
  • Draft compliance-related reports as required by the Compliance Office and management.

You will bring:

  • Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Juris Doctorate or Masters in Business, Accounting or other university degree suitable for compliance.
  • Fluency in English, second language desirable.
  • Working experience 5+ years in compliance, legal or other relevant field (finance, audit).Working experience in compliance area, at least 3 years of anti-bribery and corruption compliance or addressing compliance topics.
  • Good business knowledge/understanding and ability to analyze and distill compliance data.
  • An ability and willingness to work across international time zones and to travel (where needed) up to 30%
