About the Role You will be joining the Data Services Team, the core engine of our platform responsible for processing real-time market data. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about high throughput, low latency, and system optimization to join us, while also contributing to developing scalable APIs and modernizing our distributed architecture on AWS.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take ownership of low-latency market data streaming systems and backend architecture.
• Develop high-performance Java applications with a focus on efficiency and speed.
• Design systems for scale, low latency, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including concurrency and memory-related bottlenecks.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems within planned time and effort.
• Be a contributor and help cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills & Requirements

• Graduated from computer science or related fields of reputable universities.
• At least 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java. (Understanding of C++ concepts or low-level memory management is a strong plus).
• Solid experience in Multithreading, Concurrency, and Asynchronous Programming.
• Good knowledge of Network Programming (TCP/UDP, Sockets) and I/O operations.
• Deep understanding of Memory Management (Heap/Off-heap), OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience in RESTful web services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Passionate for developing simple, clean and efficient code.
• Open-minded and able to build good relationships across teams.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and a flexible approach to new challenges.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vert.x, RxJava, Netty.io
• Experience with Spring Boot (Critical for Cloud/API tasks).
• Practical experience in Linux/UNIX Systems, Docker and AWS.
• Experience in non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB) and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with financial protocols (e.g., FIX Protocol) is a bonus.
