About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of sophisticated machine learning models that directly impact our product offerings and customer value. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with data engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design scalable ML pipelines, experiment with novel algorithms, and deliver robust predictive solutions. Your work will be instrumental in advancing ODAIA’s AI capabilities, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of innovation in healthcare analytics.

Qualifications
- Professional experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring advanced machine learning models in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized compute environments
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern data science tools and databases like DuckDB
- Solid understanding of statistical validation, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation metrics
- Experience designing scalable ML pipelines for large datasets and real-time analytics
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex models into clear insights for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of innovation
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing relevant projects, research, or contributions is preferred
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is desirable
- Develop, implement, and optimize advanced machine learning models, including predictive modeling, time-series analysis, causal inference, and hierarchical models
- Design and build scalable, efficient ML pipelines using Python, SQL, Dagster, and Kubernetes to support robust deployment and data workflows
- Evaluate model performance rigorously using statistical validation methods, and iteratively enhance model accuracy and robustness
- Manage the entire ML system lifecycle—from problem definition and exploratory data analysis to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to integrate ML solutions seamlessly into our SaaS platform
- Communicate complex analytical results and modeling concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in machine learning and statistical methodologies, integrating relevant innovations into our frameworks
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous learning across teams
