We are looking for an account manager / aspiring Senior Account Manager to be based in Doha, working with our international clients and teams in the Middle East and North Africa.  


You may be a rising account manager in an agency or a marketing manager client-side, either way, we would love to meet you

 

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for leading a client across the region. You must have a good understanding of the marketing mix (Advertising, PR, and digital) and feel comfortable drafting presentations and creating strategies based on clients’ needs. You will have experience in managing a small team, being comfortable with details and being hands-on to ensure delivery and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  


You will be the key point of contact for the client, so you need to be a great presenter and organized in client and team communications, as well as a strong project manager. You will be supported by a strong team and managed by the GM.

Reporting to the General Manager  

   

Responsible for: 

Managing a multi-national client.  

  

Contractual Status: 

Full time,   

Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm   

 

Role Summary: 

  • Managing the client relationship, and marketing remit for the client.  
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and robust marketing plans are developed and implemented.  
  • The Snr. Account Manager will work closely with Egypt and Qatar-based delivery teams, across advertising, PR, and digital.  
  • The account manager will also act as the key point of contact for our partners; media agency, production house, and research company.  
  • The Snr. Account Manager will be responsible for coordinating all agency resources to deliver and keep the management team and GM updated on challenges, successes, and progress.  

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Organize meetings and coordinate the presence of senior team members where required.  
  • Set meeting agenda and objectives  
  • Communicate key focus areas and issues ahead of client meetings.  
  • Create compelling, presentations and proposals for client meetings.  
  • Act as the day-to-day point for the clients.  
  • Set project plans, timings, and deliverables.  
  • Clearly communicate briefs and requirements to the account team, creative and specialisms within and outside the agency  
  • Write and review briefs  
  • Ensure all status reports and WIP are regularly updated  
  • Communicate updates to the team and client in a timely and organized fashion  
  • Provide the client with proactive ideas and market insights  
  • Ensure financial processes are followed and budgets are updated and kept to  

 

 Skills Required: 

  • Comfortable with working on marketing strategies and plans.  
  • Comfortable with leading client conversations.  
  • Background in Marketing, Communications or Advertising.  
  • Exceptional communication skills  
  • Project Management, delivery orientated  
  • Highly organized  
  • Commercially minded  
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment  
  • Presentable and confident  


Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Marketing Communication, Business or related field.  
  • 5-8 years experience (or more)  
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the Middle East
