Job Title : Lead - Data & Analytics

Years of Experience : 5-8 years

Education : BE/ BTech in Computers/ Electronics / MSc IT/ MCA / Masters/Post Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field from a reputed College/ University in India or abroad.

Location : Mumbai, Full-Time (Work from Office)

Key responsibilities -

General Purpose :

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple data sources of OLTP/OLAP to support business objectives.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
• Develop and maintain reports & dashboards using BI Tools, and data visualizations using Excel, Python, and BI tools.
• Use Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.) for data analysis and automation.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from raw data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity while optimizing data processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Principal Accountabilities :

• Maintain day-to-day settlement data and ensure correctness of reporting to RBI, accuracy of data updated in NPCI web site, monitor timely update of NPCI web site with the current data. Getting the data cross checked with RBI website to confirm correctness.
• Analyze the transactional data, provide insights to customer success teams and higher management on trends, issues that must be addressed on day-to-day basis.
• Be the support function for data for the entire customer success division, manage RBI requirements for data and also be verifier for the data requirements of the product team.

Key skills and experience required -

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel with knowledge in Advanced Excel automation skills (VBA, Power Query, Macros, Power Automate, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Python/R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with “data visualization” tools (like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar).
• Understanding of statistical methods & forecasting models, and data modelling techniques.
• Hands-on experience on using python libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit learn, Seaborn, SciPy, Scikit learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools & understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline management is a plus.
• Should have experience in automating manual tasks to improve TAT & Efficiency.
• Experience in front end UI tools/frameworks like React/Angular JS will be a plus.
• Backend programming tools experience is a must.
• Cross application integration experience using Rest/Soap API and API development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of POSTMAN is desired but not mandatory.
• Experience in data/analytics team handling is must.
• Experience in Stakeholder Management is a plus.
• Experience preferably in payments domain or banking / financial services.

Certifications -

Must have one or more certifications from the following (but not limited to) from a reputed Institute or College or University in India or Abroad: -

• Data/Business Analyst Associate/ Professional
• Certificate in Data Engineering
• Power BI/ Tableau/Qlik/Any other BI Tool Specialist/Professional
• Data Warehouse/ Data Lake/ Lake House Certification
• Certified Associate in Python Programming orEntry‑Level Python — basic Python for data wrangling.
• Data Science Professional Certificate
• SQL
• Post Graduate/ MS/ MTech/ Diploma/Certification in Data Science /Business Analytics /Data Analytics/AI ML
