Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise and domain knowledge in Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery across complex financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, Python scripting or C#.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks leveraging Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Perform API testing using REST Assured and Postman.
- Conduct Database testing and scripting for data validation and integrity.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure adherence to SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage version control systems.
- Utilize Jira, Zephyr, or Xray for test management and defect tracking.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide actionable insights for resolution.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Apply domain expertise in Capital Markets to validate business-critical workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools: REST Assured, Postman.
- Experience with Database testing and scripting.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr, or Xray.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
