6-month contract | Hybrid Working | Location - Parramatta
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our state government client on an initial contract through to 30 June 2026, to determine priorities and apply a range of Scrum processes to projects and sprint cycles that maximise benefits to the team including improved team productivity, increased work progress during sprints and enhanced product delivery success.
In this role you will work closely with the digital team to develop and implement processes, practices and tools that allow for multiple paths for delivery through simplified, consistent, reusable and flexible methodologies and perform reviews of the deliverables based on acceptance criteria.
You will develop and facilitate team communication and collaboration strategies in accordance with agile principles and work with product owners to facilitate team understanding of the product road map and refinement of user stories to support estimations of time and effort for implementation and effective planning for sprint cycles.
Essential skills and experience;
- Use of project tools including Jira, Confluence and SharePoint
- Experience consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders
- Experience communicating and collaborating with all levels of software development teams
- Demonstrated experience working with agile teams
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle using agile methodology
- Scrum Master Certification
Checks required prior to commencement include;
- References from a current or previous manager
- Police check
This role is based in Parramatta, Sydney with hybrid working arrangements.
