What You’ll Do
- Design and optimise data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL to deliver scalable analytics solutions
- Migrate and refactor SAS-based processes into modern frameworks, ensuring accuracy and performance
- Analyse workflows and implement automation strategies that improve efficiency and governance
- Collaborate with analytics, actuarial, and IT teams to align solutions with business objectives
- Document processes and provide technical guidance to support knowledge transfer and ongoing improvements
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks for building and optimising data pipelines
- Experience migrating legacy systems, ideally SAS, to modern platforms
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and version control tools
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes
- Exposure to insurance or financial services analytics is highly desirable
