We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead, Human-Centered Excellence passionate about shaping user-focused digital excellence through innovative technology to join our DT Experience & Product Services team at UCB headquarters in Anderlecht, Belgium (hybrid working, two days per week onsite)
About The Role
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that digital solutions are designed and adopted with people at the center. You will lead the integration of human-centered design principles across UCB, collaborating with digital technology teams to deliver impactful, inclusive, and seamless digital experiences within our evolving tech landscape, advancing the foundations we’ve established in agentic experiences while laying the groundwork for future opportunities.
Who You’ll Work With
You will be working in a team that reimagines how people engage with technology, leading the way in creating seamless, trustworthy, and impactful digital experiences. You will be in a global, cross-functional team, where you will collaborate with UX designers, software engineers, product managers, AI solution leads, and digital technology partners.
What You’ll Do
- Champion human-centered design across digital initiatives for seamless, impactful, people-first experiences
- Develop and promote frameworks guiding human-centered digital practices across teams
- Advance agentic and generative AI foundations by shaping and applying responsible AI principles in partnership with AI colleagues
- Lead co-creation through workshops and collaborative design with stakeholders
- Lead user research, journey mapping, UX/UI audits, A/B testing and rapid prototyping in Figma
- With your team, mentor and inspire colleagues to grow human-centered design excellence and UX maturity
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (human computer interaction, industrial design, UX design, ...)
- Between 6 and 10 years of experience in UX or human-centered design, digital transformation, or related field
- Proven experience and passion for shaping UX strategy and leading research, prototyping, and agile design. Proven experience working with Figma
- Curiosity and experience with agentic and generative AI, and responsible technology adoption
- Strong advisory and communication skills to guide and inspire teams and stakeholders
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments is a plus
