Are you passionate about IT architecture and eager to gain hands-on experience in shaping the future of enterprise systems? Join our IT and Data Architecture Team as a Summer Trainee and work on projects that make a real impact. Possible locations for this role are Metso offices in Tampere or Espoo, Finland.
As a Summer Trainee – IT and Data Architecture, you will:
An exciting position in the IT and Data Architecture team of Metso IT. You will get a chance to work with professionals of the team supporting your growth and have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning together.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.

- Supporting application portfolio analysis and consolidation planning
- Contributing to architecture documentation and create clear, professional materials
- Assisting with communication and provide support for ongoing projects and initiatives
- Innovating new ways to leverage AI and automation
- A higher degree study background in fields such as IT, Information Management, Industrial Engineering and Management
- A positive and proactive can-do mindset with a strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed in the role
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in typical corporate applications and MS Office tools
- Prior experience with IT architecture and application analysis preferred but not mandatory
- Fill in the language requirements, e.g. Fluent written and spoken skills in English.
