Role And Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and technical solutions aligned to business needs.
- Ensure reliable access to data from multiple sources.
- Develop tools and processes to analyse data, uncover trends, and support decision-making.
- Produce clear reports used by global and local teams.
- Lead and promote automated data quality and testing practices.
- Work within Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
- 7+ years’ experience working with complex data sets.
- Strong analytical skills, including working with unstructured data.
- Experienced within architecture
- Has prior experience mentoring more junior engineers (don't need to have been a lead/manager).
- Strong experience with Python
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Essential experience: SQL, Airflow and/or dbt.
- Beneficial experience: Terraform, Airflow.
- Familiarity with tools such as Lambda, Flyway, pgTAP, PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
