This role is a great opportunity for an HR professional with 2–3 years of experience who wants to grow within a manufacturing environment and be closely involved in day-to-day people operations. The HR Generalist will support daily HR activities on site, working in close partnership with the Plant Manager, Operational Managers and other site teammates, while being mentored and supported by the Senior HR Manager DACH and the wider HR Europe team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration, and daily HR support
- Coordinate and support recruitment activities for a variety of manufacturing and operational roles, working closely with hiring managers and site teammates
- Act as a key HR contact on site, partnering with the Plant Manager, Operational Managers and other site colleagues on people-related topics
- Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and processes in line with legislation and company standards
- Assist with HR events, engagement activities, and employee communication initiatives on site
- Support training coordination, inductions, and integration of new employees into the business
- Assist with absence management, time & attendance, and HR system administration, ensuring accurate data and timely follow-up
- Support employee relations topics such as grievances, disciplinary processes, and investigations, under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager
- Champion a safe working environment, supporting EHS requirements and related HR processes
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR records, ensuring GDPR and data protection standards are met
- Contribute to the integration and continuous improvement of HR processes, supporting local and European HR initiatives
- Work closely with the Senior HR Manager DACH and collaborate with the HR Europe team and other internal stakeholders on projects and ongoing initiatives
- Support additional ad-hoc HR tasks as required to meet operational and business needs
Your Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in a generalist or operational HR role
- Interest in working within a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to interact with employees, managers, and teammates at all levels
- Hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within HR
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, discreet, and reliable when handling sensitive information
- Comfortable working closely with operational leaders, teammates, and as part of a broader HR network
- Payroll experience is considered a plus, even though payroll will not be part of the role’s core responsibilities
- Fluency in German and English is required
- Ability to travel on a daily basis to Kirchberg (After a successful probation period, 1–2 days of remote work per week are possible, depending on operational requirements)
