Job Overview:
Looking for a Level 1 Network Support / Data Center Technician to support a retail store IT setup and decommissioning activity. The engineer will coordinate with a remote IT team to complete installation, testing, and basic documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uninstall and install retail IT devices (POS/tills, peripherals)
- Basic network device installation (router, switch, access point)
- Assist with device connectivity and functional testing
- Perform basic cabling and rack cleanup
- Share required site pictures and complete onsite checklist
Skills Required:
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with POS systems and peripherals
- Ability to follow remote instructions
- Good communication and documentation skills
