What you'll do

• Design and build backend features that directly impact our users
• Modernize parts of our monolith into modular, maintainable services
• Improve performance across complex queries, calculations, and workflows
• Shape and maintain our Open API for partners and integrations
• Write automated tests and contribute to a strong CI/CD Setup
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams
• Help improve Developer Experience and reduce onboarding friction

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks
• Solid understanding of test automation (PHPUnit, Playwright)
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows
• Ability to balance feature delivery with long-term maintainability
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Passion for clean architecture, simplicity, and continuous improvement

Nice to have: DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, TypeScript knowledge, or experience with API-first development
