The Role
Step into the dynamic role of News Analyst, where your expertise in regional and geopolitical developments across Sweden and Europe becomes a driving force for innovation. In this position, you’ll be at the forefront of real-time event labeling and curation—monitoring, triaging, and tagging public information as events unfold, with a sharp focus on the Swedish and European landscape. Your analytical skills will shine as you accurately classify and categorize events and entities, ensuring that every detail is captured with precision.
But your impact doesn’t stop there. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and correcting errors in automated data labeling, providing essential human-in-the-loop feedback that directly enhances the performance of our AI models. With a keen eye on quality, you’ll continuously monitor and analyze our data feeds, making swift, informed decisions—even when faced with incomplete information. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally with a concentration in: Economics, International Relations, Journalism, Communications/PR, Political Science, or a closely related field strongly preferred
- Work Background in journalism and reporting is preferred
- Familiarity and good understanding of all active social media platforms in Sweden is required.
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and risk issues that affect Sweden and Europe
- Fluency in both Swedish and English (C1) required
- Proven ability to quickly analyze and interpret information from multiple, high-volume sources;
- Passion for breaking news, current world events, technology, complimented with a strong
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently within a team
