Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in German, English, and Turkish, with the ability to collaborate, discuss technical topics, and take part in client-facing conversations in all three languages.
• Based in Germany is preferred due to close collaboration with German-speaking clients, though this is not a strict requirement.
• 3+ years of software development experience with in-depth knowledge of Node.js.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in frameworks like NestJS.
• Familiarity with software testing techniques.
• Focus on sustainable development practices.
• Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with containerized environments such as Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in creating advanced GraphQL servers.
• Focus on sustainable development practices.
• Experience in caching for high-traffic, public-facing websites.

Great If You Have:

• Experience with GraphQL gateways, gRPC, OpenTelemetry, Microservices, feature flags, and trunk-based development.
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and DDD.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with monorepos is also beneficial.
• Passion for developing and maintaining libraries for public use or across teams.
• A backend-focused mindset with an appreciation for product and frontend impact — you think beyond endpoints and consider how your work shapes the overall user experience.
• Comfort collaborating across the stack and understanding how backend choices impact the end-user experience.
