Job Title: Software Engineer - Expert (Java)
Location: Gdansk (OR) Krakow, Poland (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months+ Extensions
Top 3 must-haves:
- Java, Experience in Wealth Management – specially Modeling, SQL.
Job Description:
- Leading technical contributor to the enhancement and maintenance of one or more Charles River IMS modules or components of an agile scrum team.
- This role is not for a specific project but will be allocated to any one of Wealth Management department projects.
- Day to day of the person will be spent on working on product bugs/stories assigned in a sprint, backlog grooming, code reviews, and team collaboration.
Years of experience Required:
- 6-10 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with Optimizers like Axioma and Risk optimization is a big plus.
- Also good to have experience with tools like Dynatrace, Solarwinds.
- Data modeling and database performance troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of best coding practices, object oriented design, and prior experience navigating complex code base.
- Prior experience with performance troubleshooting on the database and application layer are a plus
