As an Associate UI Designer, you will play a key role in crafting the visual language of ADSS’s trading, onboarding, and payments platforms.

You’ll translate user flows and wireframes into polished, high-fidelity user interfaces that feel effortless, modern, and consistent across all touchpoints.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to ensure that every pixel and component supports usability, speed, and a world-class trading experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Execution & Visual Systems

• Translate wireframes and UX flows into high-fidelity screens for web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Apply ADSS’s design language and component libraries to maintain consistency across all interfaces.
• Support creation of scalable design systems — typography, colors, spacing, icons, and UI patterns.
• Work with engineers during handoff to ensure pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible design implementation.

2. Collaboration & Product Alignment

• Partner with Product Managers to interpret requirements and translate them into clean, intuitive UI solutions.
• Collaborate with UX Designers to refine interaction models and improve usability across trading and account flows.
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional meetings, explaining rationale behind design choices.
• Maintain open feedback loops with the Design Lead and Engineering team for continuous refinement.

3. Prototyping & Interaction

• Build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma to communicate design intent and transitions.
• Work with UX and Product to validate designs via user testing and iterate based on insights.
• Explore animation and micro-interaction opportunities that enhance the user experience without compromising performance.

4. Design Operations & Consistency

• Ensure design outputs are version-controlled, named, and stored properly for collaboration in shared design repositories (Figma/Confluence).
• Support maintenance of the ADSS component library - ensuring design tokens are aligned with the front-end design system (e.g., in Storybook or Figma).
• Assist in refining design documentation standards - component usage, accessibility notes, and specifications for developers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in UI or Product Design for digital platforms (fintech or SaaS experience preferred).
• Proficient in Figma, including use of Auto Layout, prototyping, components, and design systems.
• Strong visual design skills — composition, typography, color theory, spacing, and responsiveness.
• Portfolio demonstrating polished interface design and attention to visual hierarchy and consistency.
• Basic understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Ability to communicate design intent clearly and work collaboratively with Product and Engineering.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on execution quality and delivery timelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development and iterative design workflows is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
